Living & Learning-Gluten Free Style
Hi and thank you for your interest in reading my blog.
It all started about three years ago.
When my son one day woke up with cruciating pain in his stomach.
I took him to his pediatrician, where the first test was an x-ray.
Which from there began many more tests to come.
Never in my life that I ever imagine my son would be suffering with stomach pains.
A lot of times he would be feeling sharp pains and can't bend his knees all the way.
Which that happen when his first doctor gave him a generic laxative called Glycolax.
He's so brave going through these problems.
It hurts me not knowing what's the cause of the problems he faces.
The stronger it makes me to see him being strong minded.
From going different physicians and taking so many tests for the past three years.
Now he still have stomach pains, but not as often.
He also has acid reflux too.
I'm more aware of the foods he shouldn't be eating.
When I go to the supermarket or any food stores, I look for non gluten and glutenin.
Gluten is latin for glue.
I always make sure to check the packages to see what it contains.
I know he's allergic to couple of things.
One of the main things is milk.
Which we all know a lot of the foods we eat consist of milk (lactose) in them.
I cook even more healthier with gluten free food.
Gluten free food helps you digest much better.
Always know what makes your body function properly.
Our body is our temple.
We must nurture and protect it.
